More than a used rig.
The project begins with the selection of a drilling rig built around proven mechanical components and the definition of a documented inspection, refurbishment and certification program.
The objective is to reduce technical uncertainty before recommissioning and provide operators with a reliable, verifiable asset ready for a new drilling campaign.
Not a simple “as is” resale, but a technical project developed through HMR according to structured and documented processes.
A proven mechanical configuration.
The rig's main systems.

Every component follows a documented process.
The value of the project lies not only in the equipment, but also in the process used to assess, refurbish and prepare it for mobilization.
Initial inspection
Identification of the equipment condition and available documentation.
Technical assessment
Definition of the inspection, refurbishment and certification scopes.
CAT IV inspections
CAT IV program for the derrick and critical equipment.
NDT examinations
Non-destructive testing of applicable structures and components.
Refurbishment
Restoration of machinery and systems in accordance with the approved technical plan.
Testing
Functional checks and load tests included in the program.
Documentation
Traceability of activities and preparation of the final technical dossier.
Mobilization
Preparation of the rig for transfer to the operating site.
The program includes API RP 4G CAT IV certification of the derrick, CAT IV inspection of critical equipment, structural NDT examinations, mud pump refurbishment and testing, and a final load test before mobilization.
Prepared for intelligent monitoring.
The rig can be equipped with the Maintenance Intelligence System (MIS), SystemItalia's proprietary technology developed to monitor the health of critical machinery and support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Condition monitoring
Continuous monitoring of operating conditions.
Predictive maintenance
Early detection of degradation phenomena.
Data-driven decisions
Objective support for maintenance planning.
A project designed to reduce technical uncertainty.
Proven components
Mechanical equipment manufactured by recognized suppliers in the drilling industry.
Documented program
Activities planned, recorded and verified throughout the entire process.
International support
Technical management and support through Houston Maintenance & Repair Inc.
